20 Spanish regular verbs ending in 'ar' and how to use them

In Lesson 16 of this Spanish for beginners course I introduce you to the regular 'ar' verbs. There you can learn how to build the six forms of any regular verb ending in 'ar'.

Following the rules set out in that lesson, here we're going to practice building the six forms of twenty regular verbs that you can hear throughout this course.

First, let's see and hear the six forms of the verb 'hablar' (to talk) in the present, the one used as a pattern for all 'ar' verbs in Lesson 16. Click on the verb forms to hear them:

hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, habláis, hablan

Now we're going to go through the rules that help us build the six forms of all regular 'ar' verbs. Let's use the verb 'doblar' (to bend, to fold) to illustrate those rules:
