Tips on how to make the most of these free Spanish speaking exercises:
- Use the pause button if you need more time
- Before listening to the recording, read the Spanish sentences and think of their English translations. Do not write them down, just build them up quietly in your head or out loud, as you prefer
- Then start the recording. Say the Spanish sentences before the Spanish speaker
- Most likely you will need to go through these exercises several times before you can complete them without using the pause button
- Once you've gone through an exercise a couple of times, repeat it once again, this time paying attention to the Spanish speakers' pronunciation and intonation. Are you making any obvious mistakes? If so, go to the pronunciation extracts
- If you come back to these exercises every few days for a couple of weeks, you'll improve your pronunciation, speed and confidence quite dramatically
- To reinforce what you've learned, go through the rest of the exercises in the lesson you're on, and revisit the dialogues. Reviewing is the secret when it comes to learning a language well
