General questions about our cdrom:

• Is this Spanish cdrom suitable for complete beginners? Yes. You don't need to know any Spanish at all before you start learning.
• How many Spanish words can learn with this cdrom? In the lessons, you'll learn a total of over 500 Spanish words. The talking dictionary contains 800 Spanish words, all those encountered in the lessons, plus a couple of hundred we thought you might find interesting.
• How do I know what lessons and games I've played so far? When you click on a button to leave the lesson or game you're in, you're always asked if you want to get it ticked as done. If you do, a tick will appear on the top left square, and in the index you'll see the same tick if it's a lesson, or your score if it's a game.
• If I learn everything on this cdrom, what level will I reach? You'll reach a comfortable intermediate level.
• What accent do the Spanish speakers have on this cdrom? The eight native Spanish speakers have a Castilian accent.
• What's the difference between the Help and the Tour? The Help answers your queries about: how to learn Spanish in general; specific issues related to the new Spanish words and sentences on the cdrom, divided by both topic and chapter; and technical issues such as using the tape recorder and typing in Spanish characters. The Help also has a hyperlink connection to the FAQs on this site.
  The Tour shows you how to use the cdrom. There, you can find short videos on how to go through the lessons and games, as well as plenty of tips on how to make the most of the revisions, games, lessons and the story.
• Is there an index where I can see the contents of this cdrom? Yes, and you can see not only the complete content per stage (there are a total of 10 stages), but you can also see which lessons and games you've gone through, as well as your scores. To get a glimpse of the index, click here.
• How many lessons and games are there on this cdrom? This cdrom is divided into 10 stages. Stages 1 to 9 have 12 chapters each, and stage 10 has one chapter with a story. In stages 1 to 9, chapters 1 to 11 have a lesson and two games each, and chapter 12 has three revision games and no lesson. In total there are 99 lessons, 225 games and one story.
