Having a good Spanish accent will not only give your learning motivation a boost, but it will also improve your communication skills dramatically. Here are some tips on how to go through our pronunciation lessons most efficiently:
- Click on Learn to find out how to pronounce the letter or letters covered in the lesson. Click on the recorded Spanish words as many times as you want, and repeat them out loud, along with the native speakers.
- Then, click on Mistakes to see which mistakes you're likely to be making, and how to avoid them. Again, read out loud the words on the screen. Concentrate on the ones you're having trouble with.
- Next, click on Sentence to hear an interesting sentence with with sounds you've just learned. If possible, learn the sentence by heart and say it out loud, imitating the native speaker's intonation.
- Once you're familiar with the new sounds, click on Practice to go through the drill.
- Then repeat the drill, this time as fast as you can, making sure you're saying the words correctly.
- Review the pronunciation movies in this course regularly. Come back to them every so often and go quickly through all the sections to refresh your memory. Then go through the drill at least once.
