Speaking exercise one:

let's review the vocabulary we've learned here and in previous lessons. I'm going to say twenty words in English. Can you say them to me in Spanish? I'll give you the answers after you tell me.

Speaking exercise two:

this is a new exercise. I'm going to say five sentences in Spanish. They're similar to sentences we've heard in this lesson's dialog, but not exactly the same. Can you give me English translation. I'll say each sentence twice.

  • Necesito tres kilos de manzanas. - I need three kilograms of apples.
  • Sólo tenemos medio kilo de champañones. - We only have half a kilogram of mushrooms
  • ¿Tiene tomates en lata? - Do you have tinned tomatoes?
  • Están junto a las lechugas. - They're next to the lettuces.
  • No me quedan espárragos en lata. - I don't have any canned asparagus left.
