Exercises: Pronunciation exercise. Words to watch out for.

Today we're going to focus on the letter 'e' at the end of a word.

On this lesson's vocabulary list we've heard: disculpe, sabe, aceite, vale, siguiente.

All these words end in 'e'. As an English speaker you may find it tempting to drop the final 'e', but doing so will make it difficult for native speakers to understand those words. The 'e' at the end of a Spanish word has to be said clearly: disculpe, sabe, aceite, vale, siguiente.

Let's practise saying other words ending in 'e'. These are all words we've learned in previous lessons. Repeat after me: abre, coche, garaje, sobre, nombre, doble, grande, caliente, leche, puede.
